Before joining the Southalls team Andy worked extensively in the hospitality industry, working in kitchens and behind bars as soon as he was old enough to pull a pint. This work saw Andy gain a wealth of practical experience in food safety and health and safety management as well as giving him a cool head under pressure and the ability to think outside the box.
Keen to develop in this field of work, Andy recently completed his MSc in Environmental Health at the University of Birmingham and since decided to embark on a career in health and safety consultancy; he is also a Graduate member of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (GradIOSH). Andy brings a common-sense approach and personable character to the table and believes in going the extra mile to support his clients to achieve their collective goals.
Outside of work, Andy’s two passions are cars and food. A self-taught mechanic, Andy loves nothing more than a Sunday afternoon covered in oil tinkering away under the bonnet of his pride and joy (safely of course!).
