Clark has worked in Business Development roles for approaching 20 years. During the dot.com boom he was instrumental in delivering websites and e-commerce solutions to SME’s around the Midlands.
After this period he moved on to work for Ticketmaster in a national business development role and was very successful in putting ticketing and venue management systems into major sporting clubs and venues, such as the Scottish Rugby Union at Murryfield, Celtic FC, Arsenal FC, Aston Villa FC and Warwickshire CCC, as a few examples. The role at Ticketmaster incorporated integration with supporting and emerging technologies such CRM systems, Automated Access Control and QR based Tickets delivered via SMS/MMS.
The QR technology lead Clark to work for a new technology start up called Mobiqa, who were pioneers in this type of solution, and were first to market in this field. This innovation made Mobiqa attractive to large established players in the market and were acquired by the NCR Corporation in 2010.
Clark joined Southalls in 2012 to help drive forward and increase uptake of Southalls innovative Cloud based solutions. This role has been an exciting chapter for Clark and during this time we have secured new contracts with over 150 new businesses which takes us over 550 clients.
On a personal front Clark is a frustrated rock guitarist with nearly 30 years of mediocre strumming under his belt. The advent of 2 sons meant that race motorbikes were no longer an acceptable weekend hobby, so the family have had to get used to the guitar!
